ESD Safety First

In our industry, electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a major threat to electronics and delicate components. That’s why Elect strictly follows the highest ESD-safe standards and operates in a carefully designed ESD protected Area (EPA), according to the NEN-EN-IEC 61340.

How do we ensure ESD-safe?
-All workstations, materials, and tools in our EPA are grounded and ESD tested;
⁃ Everyone who enters our EPA, is tested for ESD-safe grounding and clothing;
⁃ We use protective packaging when transporting our products.

Why is this important?
ESD damage can invisibly harm components, leading to defects and issues later on in the process or during usage. By implementing ESD-safe measures, we ensure the highest quality and reliability of our products.
